At 34-years old, Shayla Benoit, filmmaker and actor, is diagnosed with stage-four cancer. Her treatment also coincided with the early Covid pandemic and she had to fight for her life while battling immunocompromisation and six rounds of chemotherapy.
Shayla Benoit is a filmmaker, actor, and entrepreneur based in New York City.
Now in remission, she shares her experiences with the following:
